A search for the right performer is a consulting engagement, not just a recruitment activity. We manage these projects using a proven methodology. This is our process:

1. Assess Needs

Our team will work with you to develop a search specification that will attract the very best candidates. In our assessment, we will develop a better understanding of your organization, its policies, sales goals and other factors that may impact the effort to find the right candidate.

2. Develop Requirements

This is where the game plan comes together. In order to find the right candidate, together we develop an objective, position description, scope of services, and a timetable. We also discuss the techniques used to screen candidate to ensure a match with your organization’s unique situation.

Finally, we will create a clear, measurable hiring goal. At the end of this analysis you will clearly understand the scope of our services, fee structure and agreement between our companies.

3. Identify Candidates

Based on your needs and our research, Sale Starter will identify the best potential candidates. Through advertising, networking and use of on-line databases, we identify a pool of candidates who could fit within your organization. Screening techniques include psychological assessments and phone based interviews.

4. Qualify Candidates

After the initial candidates are screened, we conduct in-depth interviews with the candidates. Our behavioral interviewing process allows Sale Starter to evaluate the candidate based on their accomplishments – not just their aspirations for greatness. We also make assessments about the cultural fit between your company and the candidate.

Our non-conventional reference checking process enables us to highlight discrepancies and identify potential areas of concern. This rigorous process makes sure the candidates character is in line with what we know about him or her. Only qualified candidates make it through our reference checking interviews.

5. Present Candidates for Hire

Upon completion of our qualification process, we provide a summary of the most qualified candidates for your review. This is where you really see the value of our intensive process. Only weeks after our initial assessment, you will likely have several highly qualified candidates to choose from.

Our team also actively participates in the hiring process. We manage expectations, communicate with both client and candidate, and improve the odds of successful acceptances.

6. Follow-Up

Depending on the client’s needs, we follow-up to assist with the assimilation of the new hire into the client organization after the hiring process is complete. This period can include assistance with sales management tools and techniques as well as motivational programs.

Throughout this process our clients receive regular verbal and electronic reports on the progress of the search.

The result is we find more qualified candidates you can on your own and we do it much faster. Remember, we have “skin in the game” beyond the candidate hire date. If the candidate performs, we both win – if not, we both share in the risk. That’s how confident we are in our process.
