SELECTING A FIRM

When selecting a search firm, it is important for a client to have a full understanding of the services to be provided. Make sure you know what process is going to be used for the search and who will actually be the manager for your particular search effort. Discuss where candidates will come from, screening criteria, and the forms of communication the firm uses. Finally, make sure you understand the limits of your agreement – what happens if something changes mid-stream, what is the contingency plan?

Candidate search is a management consulting activity which may or may not result in the hiring of an executive. We cannot guarantee that your firm will hire a candidate to fill a position, but we do guarantee the quality of our performance.
